Hi! So chances are if you are reading this, you want to know a little more about me, or you are bored and decided to venture to this page.
I’m a nineteen year old Biology major with a passion for fashion that’s getting me confused. For years now, I have been wanting to do fashion, but as of late, I have really been thinking that dentistry or medicine is not the proper career for me. My parents, on the other hand, do not approve at all and thus, I am stuck as a Biology major.
A lot of people ask me what I would like to do in the fashion industry and my answer is that I would love to deal with social media and communicating to a newer and younger audience. I love the idea of using social networking to expand a company in bring in a younger audience that will be just as interested as the older crowd. I use social networks all the time and I as a result, I have always wanted to do something with that as a career.
Other than that, I love reading, drawing, painting and daydreaming. I have a tendency to daydream and I often speak my mind. I am not as intimidating as I seem. I like to think that the reason no one talks to me on Tumblr is because I run a fashion blog and it can be a bit intimidating. [Of course that is probably not true at all, but I don’t want to think that people don’t want to talk to me at all.]
On this blog, you will find conventional fashion photographs as well as my culture’s fashion-especially bridal wear. I adore desi brides and what they wear. My culture is as big a part of me as is fashion. I enjoy both so there is no reason why I should limit my blog to only conventional fashion. I want to open doors to inspiration by different cultures. One day, I would love to start up a line of conventional clothing inspired by my culture and the colors and designs found.
Of course, I can go on and on about fashion and everything I love about it, but that’s all for now. If you ever want fashion advice or just want to talk, don’t ever hesitate to ask.
Love,
Aqsa
